Why Familial Energy Work?

I decided to focus on supporting people in lineage work because I have personally seen how important it is to prioritize the energy dynamics within our families. I also have a 4th House Sun. I have witnessed first-hand the miracles and blessings that come with committing to this work as well as what can happen as a result of neglecting spiritual familial obligations.

Connecting to the ancestors who care for us and wish to work with us helps us to know ourselves deeply, fulfill our purpose, receive revelations, solve problems, and elevate our bloodline. It also helps us feel just how much support surrounds us in the spiritual realm. Familial Energy Work is not just about ancestors, it is about our living relatives and the way we relate to ourselves as a manifestation of ur predecessors. These relationships are just as important in our spiritual development as ancestral relationships. While many of us will be the first or only ones in our family to do this work, these people still play a role in how we go about it. For people whose bloodlines were disrupted by imperialist and colonialist violence, it can be especially difficult to fully tap into our spiritual capacities and recognize our responsibilities because so many of us are disconnected from cultures and practices that people in our bloodlines utilized and developed.

With creativity and ingenuity, our ancestors retained many indigenous spiritual practices and integrated them into different facets of our existence. We still benefit from and embody these practices in our day-to-day lives, so none of us are entirely detached from our spiritual heritage. However, it takes time, energy and support in order to engage these practices in the most meaningful ways. It is my belief that everyone should be engaged with familial energy work if they desire to elevate their lineage and do their part to heal intergenerational trauma.
