The Return

If you’ve found yourself back in a place you have tried many times to escape, I invite you to recalibrate and think of all the things you’ve faced.

What have you survived? How have you stood up for yourself? What choices have you made, even when they were so heartbreaking and difficult?

Think on what you have done right and also think on your mistakes. Think of how you’ve taken flight and how you’ve been disgraced. Think on how you got here, staring your truth in the face. Accept that if unnecessary, you would not find yourself back in this place.

What does it mean? What meaning will you give it? What will you do with this surplus of provision? How will you use this opportunity? Will you now accept this new responsibility?

You’re back in a place, but here you are, singing a different song. You’re different now and you decide just how you will belong.
